6. Add chopped tomatoes, red chili powder, and salt to the pan and cook until the tomatoes become soft and pulpy
7. Add the cooked toor dal to the pan with the tomato mixture and stir well
8. Simmer the dal for 5-10 minutes or until it reaches the desired consistency
9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
